Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Sets Guinness World Record

Samsung Group, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea's capital city, is a global industrial conglomerate with its headquarters in Samsung Town, its business district. Several connected enterprises are consolidated under the Samsung brand; it is the largest chaebol in South Korea, with more than a hundred subsidiaries and affiliates (business conglomerate). According to Brand Finance, by 2020, Samsung will have the ninth most valuable global brand value in the world. When Lee Byung-Chul founded Samsung in 1938, the company's primary focus was on trading. However, within three decades, the organization had grown into various sectors, including food production, textiles, insurance, securities brokerage firms, and retail stores. Having first established itself in the electronics industry in the late 1960s, Samsung began expanding into the construction and shipbuilding sectors in the mid-1970s, laying the groundwork for its subsequent global development. With the passing of Lee Kyung-hee in 1987, Samsung was separated into five business groups: The Samsung Group, the Shinsegae Corporation, The CJ Corporation and The Hansol Corporation, The Joongang Corporation, and several other companies.

Several significant Samsung industrial subsidiaries include Samsung Electronics (the world's largest information technology company, consumer electronics manufacturer, and chipmaker, according to 2017 revenues), Samsung Heavy Industries (the world's second-largest shipbuilder, according to 2010 revenues), and Samsung Engineering and Samsung C&T Corporation (the world's 13th and 36th largest construction companies, according to 2010 revenues), among others. Samsung Electronics is the world's most enormous information technology corporation, consumer electronics manufacturer, and chipmaker, according to 2017 revenue. Samsung Electronics is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Apart from those mentioned above, the company's other notable subsidiaries include Samsung Life Insurance, which was ranked as the world's 14th most prominent life insurance company in terms of revenue in 2012, Samsung Everland (which operates the Everland Resort, South Korea's oldest theme park), and Cheil Worldwide, which was ranked as the world's 15th largest advertising agency in 2012. Developed, manufactured, and distributed by Samsung Electronics, the Galaxy series of computer systems and mobile computing devices is a subset of the company's broad product range.

The product line includes high-end smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S series, tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab series, tablets and phablets with the added functionality of a stylus such as the Samsung Galaxy Note series, the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z series, and smartwatches such as the first version of the Samsung Galaxy Gear, with later versions dropping the Galaxy branding until the release of the Samsung Galaxy Watch in 2018. Samsung's unwrapping ceremony for the Galaxy S22 series has broken records left and right. The unboxing event for the Galaxy S22 series has broken records left and right. One thousand eight hundred twenty people from 17 different countries who had pre-booked the Galaxy S22 Ultra participated in the #EpicUnboxing event on March 5th, making it the biggest simultaneous unboxing event in history. Because of the simultaneous unwrapping, a new Guinness World Record has been established for the most significant number of persons doing it at the exact moment. Within 72 hours, the Galaxy S22 series had garnered 100,000 pre-orders, making it the most pre-ordered device in Samsung's history. Aside from that, the company gave limited-edition boxes to its customers as a thank you for taking the time to participate in the event. Along with the Galaxy Watch4, the boxes also contained a pair of Galaxy Buds2 to round out the package's features. In addition, consumers who purchased goods from India received a thank you card in their box of goods. The Galaxy S22 series will be formally launched on March 11th in over 100 countries, with the Galaxy S22 being the first.
