Samsung Launches Galaxy A52s 5G With Well Awaited Snapdragon 778G

Samsung has had quite a year, with its foldables becoming a worldwide sensation and its mid-rangers doing quite well. The South Korean company has had its ups and downs this year with the Samsung Galaxy S21 not doing so well however the company made a fantastic comeback with the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Fold. The latest additions in the foldable lineup have received such a positive response from consumers and broken sales records.

The year is far from over and Samsung plans in going out with a bang by releasing a few top-notch mid-rangers to close off 2021.

Samsung A52 5G

As a successor to the Galaxy A52 5G smartphone, Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy A52s 5G in Singapore. The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G features the same design as its predecessor, but with a few improvements such as a larger battery and a new chipset. The upgrades will make it easier for users to share phone messages across devices.

The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G costs S$548 while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs S$648. Awesome White, Awesome Black, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Mint are just a few of the colors available.


A 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution is included with the smartphone. It has a 120Hz screen refresh rate and a punch-hole display with thin bezels. In addition, the screen serves as an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC is at the heart of the smartphone, which is combined with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of inbuilt storage. It has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 25W rapid charging. A quadruple camera system with a 64MP main lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and two 5MP sensors are featured on the smartphone. Furthermore, the smartphone supports NFC and has IP67 water and dust resistance rating. It comes pre-installed with OneUI 3.1, which is based on Android 11.
