Here Are Five iOS Apps That Can Assist You In Staying Organized

To be productive and connected with our teams, many of us rely on our iPhones. If you're anything like me, you've probably decided that now is the time to organize your business and personal life so that you can be more productive this year.

Having the correct technology and tools to get work done is one of the best ways to be productive. But, let's face it, sorting through all of the noise isn't always easy, and it can leave you feeling a little overwhelmed. If this suits you, you are not alone, and you are in luck. That's because I've compiled a list of the top four iPhone productivity applications you should get right now if you want to make 2020 the year you get things done.

1. Spark

When it comes to email programs, I'm choosy. I am, admittedly, perhaps more than is reasonable. And, as much as I want to use Apple's Mail app, I can't because it doesn't allow me to share with other programs. That is why I am a huge fan of Spark. It isn't perfect (for example, there is just one line of preview), but it integrates with nearly every other tool and service I use daily.

2. Reminders

While there are superior task management or to-do applications (see Things 3 below), Reminders and Siri work together to create a powerful productivity tool. The capability to ask Siri to "remind me to call Sarah at 3 p.m." or to "remind me to send Mike the presentation when I reach the office" is incredibly convenient, and it's possibly my favorite feature of the iPhone and Apple Watch. The option for her to remind you based on your location is quite useful.

3. Evernote

It would be dishonest of me to include Evernote in a list of apps that can help you get organized. This is due to the fact that I use it for everything. Evernote is where I do my brainstorming. I save articles to Evernote so that I can read them later. I save audio notes and scan papers. It's my digital brain. Some apps accomplish some of those things better than others, but none do them all.

4. Shortcuts

Shortcuts isn't technically an app, but rather a function of iOS 13 and iPadOS. It is, nevertheless, really handy for keeping things ordered. It's a workflow automation tool that lets you design sequences that mix operations from different apps. You could, for example, construct a shortcut that sends you a pdf of all the Trello cards on a certain board.

5. Smart Transfer

Smart Transfer is a secure data transfer tool that transports your vital data at lightning speed. It allows you to send and receive images, videos, contacts, audio files, documents, apps, and more at any time and from any location. Smart Transfer lets you switch devices or platforms without having to worry about tangled cords and connections. File switch has never been this easy.

The Bottom Line

All of the aforementioned apps will aid users in keeping their iPhones clutter-free. Consequently, your iPhones will be easier to manage and use. Whether it is data transfer or just combining your notes in one place, you have all you need just a click away.
