Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 will be released with S21 FE

Samsung has announced that there will be no Galaxy Note phone this year, and this is looking like the end of the note series. Samsung appears to be trying to entice Note users to switch to its foldable Galaxy Z smartphones, which may arrive about the same time as the Note 20.

Samsung is scheduled to host an Unpacked event for the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy S21 FE between early and mid-August, according to Yonhap News. In July the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 were rumoured to be announced officially while the Galaxy S21 FE(fan edition) was rumoured to be announced on August 19th. The new phones are expected to arrive at the end of August, according to reports.

In August of last year, the Z Flip 5G, a more powerful, 5G-enabled version of the OG Flip, was announced. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 was released in September, followed by the Galaxy S21 FE in October.

Samsung is reportedly hoping that releasing new smartphones at the same time would fill the void left by the Galaxy Note. On August 21, the Note 20 became available for purchase.

The company also doesn't want to leave too much of a void between the Galaxy S21 and the current flagships. Samsung's new S series phones had a good start, but demand appears to be waning.

Reports reveal a price change

The study also backs up reports that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 would be less expensive than the Flip 5G. It is estimated to cost about 500,000 South Korean won ($450) less in Korea than the Z Flip, which cost 1.65 million won ($1,483) when it was first released.

The Z Flip 5G was initially priced at $1,449 in the United States, but was later lowered to $1,199. The price of the Z Flip 3 is expected to range between $990 and $1,199.

The Fold 2 has also been reduced by $200, and the Z Fold 3 is expected to be priced at least as low as the current $1,799 price.

According to today's news, the Galaxy S21 FE will be priced at 700,000 won ($629), which is approximately the same as the S20 FE, which was launched at $699.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 is expected to be used in all three new Samsung devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to have an under-panel camera and support for the S Pen, while the Z Flip 3 will have a larger cover display than the Z Flip 5G. They are expected to be among the year's best phones that are all being produced by Samsung. Samsung is innovating majorly with this new wave of phones which is a huge step in the way forward.
